Class II and III with possibly one IV

Arrive on Sunday, boat on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Depart on Thursday.

Come join us on the clear, cold, beautiful, fast McKenzie River. Although most of the river is only class II and III, the continuous, rocky nature of it makes it much more challenging than novice boaters might expect. Boaters should have both skills and appropriate gear for cold water and continuous rapids. We will boat different runs each day depending on interest and group composition.

The club has reserved 5 campsites in McKenzie Bridge Campground that can accommodate a maximum of 10 vehicles, so participants must RSVP to trip leaders. The club will ask for donations to cover the cost of campsites.
